Queen Elizabeth II Event Centre

Our client engaged us to design, manufacture, install, and commission a new BMS control system at the Queen Elizabeth Event Centre in Westminster. The project involved renovating the existing TV studio’s AHU to incorporate a new inverter-driven EC plug fan for the supply and two new inverter-driven extract fans.

The scope also included installing new sensors, three-port cooling valves, and damper actuators. Additionally, three new three-port zone valves were installed to serve four studios and seven rooms. This required stripping out the old cabling and controls and replacing them with new power supplies, control cabling, and a Trend IQ4E controller.

As part of the project, we also installed a repeater panel in Studio 3’s comms room, enabling the end user to adjust temperatures as needed.
